Discover Forest Bathing
It might sounds like a slightly odd thing to do, but lately we've been loving the traditional Japanese past-time of 'forest bathing'.
Inspired by ancient Shinto and Buddhist practices, the experience of forest bathing (known as 'shinrin-yoku') is designed to let nature enter your body through all five senses.
There's a strong school of thought that suggests that there are material health and emotional benefits from really connecting with nature.
We've been leading small groups into the mountainous Chichibu-Tama-Kai area - which holds the largest concentration of broad-leafed evergreens in Japan - and we're definitely feeling the benefits.
